Do you know who has keys to your locks?

Does marking "DO NOT DUPLICATE" really keep people from getting additional keys?  Your security system isn't a high security system unless you can control all your keys.  When you absolutely need to know how many keys have been made to your front door, give us a call!

Key Control - High Security duplicated - Key control is knowing how many keys are outstanding and who has them.  Most keys are easily duplicated just about anywhere you care to take them.  "DO NOT DUPLICATE" won't stop someone from getting additional keys.  High Security lock systems gives you ultimate control over who gets a copy of your key.  These locks protect your valuables with a multi-level control system including one or all the following:
      Pick and drill resistant designs.
Only authorized lockshops can get the key blanks.  NO hardware store copies!
A signature card system to require positive identification before a duplicate is released.

Keyless Entry - Why use yesterday's lock for today's access needs?  Circa 1800, the padlock was widely used as the only protective device available.  In the years to follow, locking mechanisms grew as did technology - debuted in the 1960"s, a mechanical combination push button lock replaced the key with a single code combination.  Today we have advanced to an unprecedented level of security and convenience with the advent of electronic access locks.

Master Key Systems - Your business has special needs for security that we can help you with that will not only keep you secure, but allow for a more efficient operation.  We can install and manage a master key system so that people can use one key to get everywhere they need to but keep them out of restricted areas.  We can keep records of each key that each employee has and what lock they can open with that key, while allowing a manager to have access to all areas with one key.

Automobile Keys & Services - Since we work on so many cars, we have all the latest key making equipment and knowledge in duplicating most car keys.
Eventually almost everyone who drives a care will find a time when they are looking at their keys inside their locked car or will have discovered that their keys are lost or stolen.  We have all seen "good Samaritans" attempt to open a locked car, but more often than not, an amateur's attempts only damage your car.  We open thousands of cars each year and can repair locks damaged in burglary attempts and replace worn locks and keys.  Our technicians are trained on the latest opening methods and best tools available.

Keys - Whether you need a duplicate key for you car or home or need a high security key for your business, we can help you.  We have one of the largest inventories of keys and usually have the one you need and with our expert technicians doing the duplicating, they always work (with rare exceptions).

Tips:
1.  Never hide a house key under the door mate or a rock that is near your door.  Most burglars know that trick.  Instead, give a key to a trusted neighbor.
2. When you move to a new house or apartment, have a professional locksmith rekey the locks.
3. Don't use door chains; they break easily and don't keep intruders out.
4. Many burglars will not spend more than one minute attempting to break in.  Make sure all your external doors have sturdy, well installed deadbolt locks.
