Safe buying tips:
1. Quite often people will buy a non-fire protected storage safe and place a fire or media chest inside. You will get burglar protection from the larger one and fire protection from the smaller. Be sure, however, that the burglar safe is large enough for the the non-flammable items and the fire chest.

2. On most burglary safes you have the option of choosing your own combination or using the factory assigned combination. The first reaction is to choose your own combination; however, there is something else to consider. If you ever lose or forget the combination, we can call the factory and get the original from them. If you choose your own, we cannot help and you run the risk of damage to your safe in getting it open. Remember, the only people who can get a factory combination are authorized dealers, so no one else can call the factory and get the combination to your safe.
